VINTAGE BOGEN B62 / LENCO L70 in Bellevue, Alberta for sale

For sale: a superb, rare, Bogen / Lenco B 62 "Heavy Platter" turntable. This turntable is actually a Lenco L70 idler drive turntable that was re badged and sold in the USA, as a Bogen B 62. Made in Switzerland.
Highly regarded "heavy platter" unit. The alloy platter weighs almost 8 pounds, and insures constant and accurate speed! Very strong motor and idler drive, brings the heavy platter up to speed quickly and smoothly. The motor has been disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and re lubricated using high quality synthetic grease. The noisy plastic idler wheel has been replaced with an excellent metal unit that has a soft, pliable tyre. The turntable runs silently! This turntable is in excellent cosmetic condition and sounds fantastic! All controls work smoothly and properly.
Plug and play condition. Delivers the accurate, detailed, high quality sound that heavy platter Lencos are famous for! Beautiful, custom, laminated plywood plinth is fitted with large, pliable rubber feet that help absorb vibration. The original phono cables were badly deteriorated, and have been upgraded with superior quality cables fitted with gold plated RCA plugs! Make no mistake, this is truly an audiophile quality turntable!
