Honda 599 Hornet (CB600F) with luggage racks and extras in Bellevue, Alberta for sale

The original 599 Hornet, before Honda started making their regular motorcycles look like Transformers. Big black tank, big round headlight, classic lines.
This bike looks like an old standard, even a bit like a cruiser, but underneath it's all sport. The 600cc engine is the same one used on the CBR, but it's mated to a transmission that's geared for everyday driving. It's as comfortable at 50 km/h on the street as it is at much higher speeds on the highway. It will take you past highway speed in second gear, but it's civilized enough to be comfortable on long road trips.
Included with this bike is a luggage frame with engine protector, three large Givi hard cases, a Battery Tender Plus, a tail light for the top case (not installed), a set of heated gloves (not wired in), and an actual car horn, because let's face it, OEM horns are crap. I've also got riding gear and two helmets if you need them.
The reason I'm selling it this low is because I haven't used the bike since I moved to Edmonton from Ontario, so you'll need to transport it for an out of province motorcycle inspection before licensing it. I've run the bike each summer though, and kept fuel stabilizer in the tank so everything runs smoothly. One of the tail light lenses also needs replacing. It has been dropped twice, both times at very low speed with the only damage being the brake and clutch levers (both replaced) and a couple of scratches on the engine protector, side cases, and handlebar ends. (First drop was right, second was left.) There's also some surface rust on the bars.
This is an excellent bike for the price. It was $9200 new (in December 2007, straight out of the crate), and the extras add up to over $2000. As the last couple of summers have gone by, I've realized I'm just not going to ride the thing anymore, so I want it to go to a good home.
